Ace Club Lambs Tops WCLA Sale
The 11th Annual WCLA Club Lamb Sale was held on April 10, 2010 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Topping the sale, and selling as the “Pick of the barn” was a consignment by Ace Club Lambs of Brooklyn, Wisc. The natural-colored wether sold for $550.
Other sale highlights included a $350 crossbred wether sold by Crayton Club Lambs, Oak Creek, Wisc. Two wethers sold for $300, a crossbred wether sold by Ace Club Lambs and a Hampshire wether consigned by Crayton Club Lambs.
The average price for the 44 lambs sold at the WCLA Club Lamb Sale was $200.

I am extremely excited about this year’s lamb crop. The ram we used is home-raised, “Depies 09” (Dynamo). He throws long, thick lambs with tremendous tops and lots of style.
